Hank!

Meet our pup Hank. He's a French Bulldog. The smallest of the Bulldog Family. We got him on Sunday, we've been looking for quite awhile. ALthough we weren't sure of what type of pup we wanted. We decided on him! He and Penny are getting along rather well. Penny is still a little unsure of what is going on and why the little guy is playing with her toys??? I think she's wondering when he is leaving.
Hank chases after Penny biting her tail. It's so cute. The little guy has the best personality. We're really enjoying him so far the only thing is potty training. We've heard Frenchies are hard to potty train, granted it's only been a few days but we're trying really hard to keep him on a schedule and we also make sure we take him out as soon as he starts sniffing. If anyone has any suggestions for potty training please help out!

Finally Buddy and I have our first Christmas card together. Okay so I couldn't figure out how to upload the card itself here are a few of the pics that are on the card. I thinks there adorable! I can't wait to send the card out!

Coat for the Cold, please?!?!

So I've been on the search for a new, warm, cute, winter coat. Mission accomplished, today during my lunch break I headed to TJ's. Low and behold I find an awesome coat: Laundry by Shelli Segal Belted Maxi Down Coat with Fox Fur Trim.
It's super cute and warm. Perfect for a Chicago's winter!

Our Fur Babies

Miss Penny Layne is almost two years old she is a Cairn Terrier Shih Tzu Mix (Care Tzu). She is brings us joy everyday with her big personality and independent ways. She is so darn cute and We're sure to tell her everyday how much we love her. She always makes me happy even if I'm having a bad day.
Next is Miss Goldie, she is a 7 year old persian and is very co-dependent, she loves to snuggle and be wherever you are. One of her favorite activities is to sneak on your pillow while sleeping and start purring. Altough it's frustrating to be woken up in the middle of the night, we still love her. She is the sweetest little kitty I've ever met. Above are a few pics of Goldie and Penny doing what they do! Usually Goldie boxes Penny until she leaves her alone, it's very entertaining to watch. We love our fur babies.
I love reading about everyones pets on Kellys Korner! It is really helping my day at work pass:)

Slowin' Down

So I've found a few candidates I'd like to adopt the only problem is S says we need to wait until after our holiday travels. Very reasonable however, I'm very impatient and very impulsive so naturally I want one now. I have to wait a couple of months so I'll slow my search down.....I'd hate to find one I really want and not be able to take the puppy home. Enough! Tonight I tried a new recipe for turtle pumpkin pie. It's setting up in the fridge once it's ready and if it's good I'll be sure to post the recipe.

Search For Our Furry Friend

Well in the two hours since the last post my cute little pekignese friend can't come home with us. S said that it's too much of a froo froo dog!! Does he not know me, I love froo froo. We have agreed upon looking for a small to medium pup (cocker spaniel).....like I said before I want every dog I see. This is going to be very hard. Oh by the way I'm supposed to be working not looking for puppies and blogging. Oops! This is way more fun though:)
